Your Velvora LED lamp is the key to curing gel nail strips evenly. Learn positioning, timing, thumb curing, and care tips for salon-quality results at home.

Setup & positioning

+ Proper placement
  • Place lamp on a flat, stable surface near power supply.
  • Insert fingers fully; nails should be 1–2 cm from LEDs.
  • Keep hand flat — do not tilt or hover.
Pro tip: Wipe nails with alcohol immediately before curing to remove dust/oil for a cleaner set.

Cure timing

+ Standard cycle
  • Flash-cure: 5–10s to hold strips in place before finishing hand.
  • Full cure: 60–90s. Always cure thumbs separately.
+ Over-curing?

Not harmful — but it can create excess heat sensation. Stick to 60–90s for optimal adhesion without discomfort.

Thumb curing

+ Why cure thumbs separately?

Thumbs angle away from LEDs in most lamps. Curing them separately ensures direct exposure and prevents under-curing at the sides.

Lamp care & safety

+ Cleaning

Wipe tray and LEDs with alcohol wipe after each use. Never submerge in water.

+ Safety tips
  • Avoid looking directly into LEDs while operating.
  • Unplug when not in use.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
