In short: we use essential cookies and similar on-device storage to run the shop, your bag and checkout. We only use measurement cookies (Google Analytics) and advertising cookies (Meta Pixel) if you say yes in our cookie banner.
This Cookies Policy explains how velvora.co.uk, operated by Digitaliced Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies. It also explains your rights and how to manage your choices under UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
1) What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Websites can also keep small amounts of information in your browser's own storage (often called local storage). Both are used to make websites work properly, improve performance and give owners insights. In this policy we call them all "cookies".
2) How we use cookies
We use cookies to:
- Enable essential functions (your bag, checkout, account sign-in)
- Remember things you've asked us to, such as saved items and recent searches
- Analyse traffic with Google Analytics (only if you agree)
- Show our ads on Facebook and Instagram and measure them (only if you agree)
3) Categories of cookies
- Necessary: essential for the shop, your bag and checkout to work. Always on.
- Measurement: help us understand how visitors use our site, through Google Analytics. Only with your consent.
- Advertising: show our ads on Facebook and Instagram and measure whether they led to an order, through the Meta Pixel. Only with your consent.
4) How consent works on our site
We use our own cookie banner, not a third-party consent tool. When you first visit, you can choose Accept all, Reject all or Manage, which lets you switch Measurement and Advertising on or off separately. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
Nothing in the Measurement or Advertising categories runs until you make a choice:
- Google's tags use Google Consent Mode. They start with analytics and advertising storage switched off, and only switch it on if you agree.
- The Meta Pixel is not loaded at all unless you agree to advertising cookies.
Your choice is saved on your own device. To change your mind at any time, use Cookie settings at the bottom of every page: the banner opens with your current choices, and you can switch measurement or advertising on or off. Turning something off takes full effect from the next page you open. You can also email support@velvora.co.uk for help.

5) Third-party cookies
These providers may set cookies or receive data through our site:
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics: measurement, only with your consent
- Meta Pixel: advertising on Facebook and Instagram, only with your consent
- Stripe: our payment provider, which may set its own cookies at checkout to take payment securely and prevent fraud
- Supabase: keeps you signed in to your account
- Google Sign-In: only if you choose to sign in with Google
- YouTube: our product videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode and only load when you press play
These providers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the UK Addendum are applied.

You can set your browser to block or delete cookies. However, essential features like your bag and checkout may not work correctly without them.
