Product Safety and Ingredients
Velvora gel nail strips are HEMA free and TPO free, vegan and cruelty-free. Cure gel strips under a UV or LED lamp for about 60 seconds, keep your eyes away from the light, and take strips off with cuticle oil rather than peeling them dry. If irritation occurs, stop using the product and seek advice from a pharmacist or doctor.

Safety at a glance
- Gel strips are HEMA free and TPO free, vegan and cruelty-free.
- Keep gel away from your skin and cuticles, and cure only the strip on the nail.
- Don't look directly into the lamp light while it is on.
- Never peel strips off dry. Use cuticle oil for gel strips and nail polish remover for polish strips.
- If you have a known allergy to any ingredient listed below, don't use that product.
- If irritation occurs, stop using the product and seek advice from a pharmacist or doctor.
- Keep all products away from children, in a cool, dry place out of heat and sunlight.
Gel nail strips (semi-cured)
Our gel nail strips are real semi-cured gel, cured to around 80 per cent in production. They need a UV or LED lamp to finish curing. See the application guide and the removal guide.

How to use gel strips safely
- Start with clean, dry nails, free of oils and creams. Avoid getting the strip on your skin or cuticles.
- Cure under a UV or LED lamp for about 60 seconds per hand, thumbs separately. Add 15 to 30 seconds for very dark or glittery shades.
- Remove gently with cuticle oil, as shown in the gel removal guide. Never peel off dry.
Nail polish strips
Our nail polish strips are real nail polish in a strip. They stick on without a lamp and need no drying time. See the application guide and the removal guide.

How to use polish strips safely
- Apply to clean, dry nails, press firmly and smooth down the edges.
- Avoid water and steam for 60 minutes after applying.
- Remove with ordinary nail polish remover, as shown in the polish removal guide.
Cuticle oil

How to use cuticle oil safely
- Apply sparingly to cuticles and the sides of the nail once a day.
- For external use only. Avoid your eyes.
- Stop using it if irritation occurs.
Mini UV/LED lamp
Our mini UV/LED lamp finishes the cure on gel strips. It charges by USB-C and comes in blue or pink. See the lamp guide.

Using the lamp safely
- Avoid looking directly at the UV/LED light.
- Don't let liquids get into the lamp.
- Don't use it if the lamp or cable is damaged.
- Unplug it when you are not using it.
- Clean it with a soft, dry cloth only, never acetone.
- Keep it out of reach of children and store it somewhere cool and dry.
Lamp warranty
The lamp is covered by a 6-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If something goes wrong, email support@velvora.co.uk with your order number.
The warranty does not cover:
- faults after the warranty has expired
- damage from misuse, such as the wrong voltage, water or drops
- a lamp that has been opened, altered or repaired by anyone not authorised by us
- cosmetic wear and tear from normal use
When the lamp reaches the end of its life, please recycle it in line with your local electrical waste rules.
Storage
- Store everything in a cool, dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight.
- Keep gel strips sealed in their pouch until you use them. UV light starts the cure, so keep opened strips away from your lamp and sunlight.
- Keep all products out of reach of children.
Removal
Gel strips: put a few drops of cuticle oil round the edges, wait a moment, then lift with the wooden stick and peel slowly. No acetone needed. Never peel them off dry.
Polish strips: wipe them away with ordinary nail polish remover.
