How to Do Your Own Nails With Shaky Hands or Poor Dexterity

If grip strength is the problem

The steps that need grip are peeling the strip from its backing and filing. Both get easier with a bit of setup: peel the strip while the sheet rests flat on the table rather than holding it in mid-air, and use a file with a thick handle, or wrap a thin one in a flannel to fatten the grip. If opening the packet is the hard part, ask someone to open all of them at once when the set arrives, and store the sheet in its packet away from sunlight.

Removal is the easy part

This matters more than it sounds. Acetone soaking and scraping need sustained fiddly effort with both hands.
